It is currently -35C, not accounting for windchill. It is reportedly going to drop to -39C overnight.

Can you comprehend how freaking cold that is?

No!

My father was posted to Canada when he was in the Royal Air Force. He said the cold was dry in Canada and had a bracing quality.
In England there is a lot of rain and so the cold feels less comfortable. Mind you it never goes much below zero here.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to convince the kids to walk the 3 blocks to school this morning...

What? The've got a minus 35c as well now!
Sorry, but it's +15c in London today.
Mind you, I do love Canada, especially Vancouver.
If I ever go to Alberta, I'll go in the Summer thanks.
